Description
PTFE Tubing is one of the common tubings used in microfluidics. Offered in a variety of metric-based diameters. PTFE tubing offers excellent chemical resistance and mechanical stability. Less stiff and more flexible than FEP. Naturally opaque (cloudy white).
Tubing is packed to alleviate stress and may tangle over time. To use, find the free end and loosely uncoil. Small impurities may be observed in the tubing wall and will not impact performance.
Generally, smaller ID means higher resistance and working pressures. As ID increases for a given OD, wall thickness (WT) of tubing decreases and is more susceptible to bursting.
Tolerance ID & OD: +/- 0.05 mm
