Description
The CS16 CultureWell™ Removable Chambered Coverglass is a sterile 16-well chambered coverglass designed for cell culture, high-resolution microscopy, immunofluorescence, and live-cell imaging. Featuring a 2 × 8 well format with standard 96-well plate spacing and working volumes, it enables seamless integration with multichannel pipettes and automated laboratory workflows.
Each well is formed by an inert, non-cytotoxic silicone gasket that creates a reliable leak-proof seal between the polycarbonate chamber and a premium No. 1.5 German borosilicate coverglass. This optical-grade glass provides exceptional image quality for fluorescence, confocal, and high-resolution microscopy while supporting healthy cell growth.
Following cell culture or staining, the chamber assembly can be easily removed using the optional separation tool, allowing the coverglass to be mounted directly onto microscope slides without damaging the sample. The silicone gaskets remain attached to the coverglass after removal and leave no residue, preserving sample integrity and allowing the individual wells to serve as reagent reservoirs if desired.
Every CultureWell™ chamber is manufactured and quality tested to ensure consistent sealing performance, optimal cell growth, and reliable chamber removal.
