Description
FEP Tubing for Microfluidic and Fluidic Systems
ELEXAN Scientific FEP Tubing, 1/16" OD × 0.03" ID (0.75 mm ID), 20 m is transparent fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) tubing designed for fluid routing, microfluidic systems, laboratory instrumentation, and flow-control applications.
The 1/16" (1.59 mm) outer diameter is compatible with many standard fluidic fittings and connectors, while the 0.03" (0.75 mm) inner diameter provides controlled flow resistance compared with larger-ID tubing. This makes the tubing useful for applications where tubing dimensions are selected not only for fluid transport but also to influence the hydraulic resistance of the fluidic circuit.
The tubing can be used to connect syringe pumps, microfluidic chips, flow cells, manifolds, valves, and other fluidic components. Its transparent construction also allows visual inspection of the fluid path.
FEP provides excellent chemical resistance and a wide operating temperature range. The tubing is specified for pH 0–14, with a maximum temperature of 200°C and minimum temperature of −250°C.
